If the default value for Automatic-redrive is not appropriate for the application, perform the following before calling DBCHCL for the Connect function:
- Set Change Options to 'Y'.

Change the value as appropriate:
- 'Y' to enable Automatic-redrive
- 'N' to disable Automatic-redrive
- 'E' to disable Automatic-redrive and Recoverable Network Protocol (RNP)
